Incense Blends
A millennium old tradition
Smoking with incense is a tradition that goes back thousands of years and was and still is used for spiritual and meditative reasons.
Incense mixes or incense are the substances used to scent rooms with the fragrances and active ingredients of the most varied mixtures of herbs, resins, fruits or seeds.
The incense stick is probably the best known form
Compared to incense sticks, incense mixtures made from powder or from dried cabbage bundles can be mixed in different ways and for different purposes. In a special incense burner with or without a sieve, these mixtures can be easily charred.
The essential oils contained are released slowly and give the room its special touch. The incense that many of us are most familiar with is the incense that is traditionally used in the catholic mass for the Lord's Supper.
