Material
This article is mainly made of Lyocell. Lyocell fibres from the Lenzing company are known under the brand name Tencel®. Since the production of Tencel fibres takes place within a patented closed-loop process and uses very little energy and raw materials, Tencel® has a low ecological footprint. In addition, the lyocell fibres are based on renewable eucalyptus wood and are therefore of natural origin.
Production
This product was manufactured in China by our partner Jiecco. The Jiecco textile factory is GOTS and OCS certified. This means that we can be sure that the approximately 100 employees are paid appropriately and work under fair conditions. Before we decide to work with a production facility, we make sure that the following criteria are met:
- GOTS certification
- long-term cooperation
- fair wages and social security for the textile workers
- appreciative cooperation
- regular on-site visits to check compliance with standards
