Attitude

For many years, Lotus Design has been committed to the topic of inclusion. We now understand a little more that basically every person is ‘disabled’ in their own way and, at the same time, perfect in a wonderful way.

Cooperation

Since 2006, Lotus Design has been cooperating with recognised workshops for people with disabilities throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. Various sewing businesses make our fabrics according to our specifications. This results in meditation cushions and meditation mats, yoga mats and bolsters, sleeping pillows and much more. A workshop with a woodworking shop has been making our meditation benches for many years.

Responsibility

Since 2013, Lotus Design has been a certified inclusion enterprise of the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR). This means that at least 30% of our workforce are people with so-called severe disabilities.
Inclusion is an integral part of our daily work and significantly shapes our working atmosphere and our interactions with each other. For years, two male and one female employees with severe disabilities have been an integral part of our team in the areas of shipping and order processing.

Spirit

Inclusion has become a natural part of our philosophy. No matter who we are or what we are, we are all united by an inner beauty that longs to unfold. If we can contribute a little to this unfolding in our daily work, we have already achieved a great deal.
