Pillow with kapok filling - sustainable, pleasant and durable
Kapok is a sustainable, long-lasting and water-repellent natural product. Kapok fiber is a hollow fiber in which the enclosed air can warm up wonderfully. Kapok fiber has a natural wax layer, which is why the fiber absorbs almost no moisture. Kapok fiber is predominantly made of cellulose and has a natural bitter substance that is also said to have a pest-repellent effect. This can reduce mite or vermin infestation, which in turn can be beneficial for allergy sufferers. Due to its natural bulking ability, Kapok is an excellent filler for bed, sleeping and pillows. It doesn't take a lot of maintenance to keep a sleeping pillow filled with kapok. Just shake the pillow regularly and air it from time to time. The Lotus Design scope of delivery only includes the Kapok-filled inlets. You can order the matching covers separately from us in the shop.
