Virgin wool is a gift of nature

For the term virgin wool is actually only permissible for wool sheared from live sheep. This wool is usually of high quality. Organic virgin wool comes from animals that are also raised and fed in controlled organic livestock farming.

New wool pellets from controlled animal husbandry

The new wool pellets we use are from controlled organic animal husbandry (kbT). We use them mainly as filling for sleeping pillows, in which they have a light support function and keep the pillow dimensionally stable.

The properties of organic virgin wool

Virgin wool has excellent thermal properties, which man has been taking advantage of for thousands of years. Sleeping pillows with virgin wool pellets have a temperature-balancing effect and are easy to fluff. They are self-cleaning thanks to the natural wool fat lanolin. They absorb about a third of their weight in moisture and release it back into the room air.
